Every genre will be explored from Westerns, Social Dramas, Musicals and Documentaries COMPUTING CLASSES Various days and times Classes in basic and more advanced computing ; Word Processing, E-mailing, Excel spreadsheets, Digital Photography, Explore computer's possibilities, Explore the Internet, Finding your roots…….. and more CONSCIOUSNESS AFTER LIFE? Tuesdays 13.50 - 14.55 A friendly discussion group in which we explore fascinating ideas. The only requirement is an open mind. COUNTRY DANCING Mondays - beginners 10.20 - 11.30; experienced 12.50 - 13.55 For beginners and more experienced dancers - from the easy to the more challenging. CRYPTIC CROSSWORDS - SOLVING THEM! Wednesdays !3.50 - 14,55 There are conventions to learn and an ability to do lateral thinking. We will try to solve a few puzzles together before you will be able to explore this fascinating world on your own. DIY - USE OF MATERIALS Tuesdays, Summer Term, fortnightly 11.30 - 12.35 Use of materials in and around the house. Bring your problems along and Ron will endeavour to solve them! DOWN MEMEORY LANE Tuesdays 10.20 - 11.25 My parents told me stories of their past but I can only remember small snippets. Why not give a gift of memories to those who follow us? Sessions will be partly filmed on DVD for you to take home. DRAMA WORKSHOP Fridays, fortnightly 10.45 - 12.15 Working through improvisations to create a short piece of theatre. DRAMATISING SHORT STORIES Thursdays 12.30 - 14.25 A weekly creative exploration and dramatised readings of some of the world's great short stories. DUTCH CONVERSATION Wednesdays, fortnightly 12.40 - 13.45 A conversation class to interest you and hopefully to ensure I don't forget the language myself! ECONOMICS: GOOD ACCOUNTING Mondays, fortnightly 12.50 - 13.55 A cynic is someone who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. How do societies get prices and values that work? ELEGANT BELLY DANCING - BEGINNERS Wednesdays 12.40 - 13.45 and IMPROVERS Tuesdays 10.20 - 11.25 If you have ever wondered how to do the shimmy and the camel - now is the time to learn (don't worry, no bellies will be visible). The history of man's spirituality as embodied in art FAMILY MATTERS Wednesdays, 12.40 - 13.45 Paediatrics and child health--"Illness and Wellness". Child health is of concern to extended family members of all ages. FRAMING HISTORY Thursdays, 11.15 - 13.00 "Causes célèbres" and legal miscarriages of justice across the world, such as blood libels, lynchings and genocide. FRENCH FOR BEGINNERS Thursdays 13.50 - 14.55 For those who would like to learn French or have done a little bit a long time ago.
